AECOM to provide program management services for Hamad International Airport expansion program


AECOM will oversee the design and construction management of Cargo Terminal 2 and Amiri Flight Facilities at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar

DALLAS, December 14, 2021– (BUSINESS WIRE) – AECOM (NYSE: ACM), the world’s trusted infrastructure consultancy, announced today that it has been selected to provide program management services for the cargo terminal 2 and Amiri flight facilities as part of the Hamad International Airport expansion Program for the Qatar Company for Airports Operation and Management. As part of the Hamad International Airport expansion program, AECOM will provide project management and construction management for the new cargo terminal and ancillary support buildings which include a veterinary inspection center, power plant and deviations from infrastructure. In addition, a cargo bridging facility will be created to deal with the anticipated overflow from Freight Terminal 1.
