Boyle Transportation is acquired by healthcare supply chain specialist Andlauer Healthcare Group Inc. (AHG) in an $ 80 million deal, the groups confirmed on Tuesday.
Boyle Transportation, which last week was named one of the Truckload Carriers Association’s Best Fleets to Drive for the second year in a row, provides specialist transportation services to clients in the life sciences and government / Defense, which aligns well with Toronto Services 3PL’s AHGs which include customized logistics, distribution and packaging solutions for healthcare manufacturers across Canada. Based in Billerica, Mass., Boyle Transportation was one of the first fleets to transport the COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer’s Global Supply manufacturing plant to distribution points across the country.

AHG also on Tuesday acquired all of the outstanding shares it did not already own of Skelton USA – a 75-truck truck and 100 trailers transporting temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, biologics, plasma and vaccines. AHG acquired a 49% stake in the company in March.
Andlauer said the acquisition of the rest of Skelton USA, a Skelton Canada affiliate that serves cold chain customers across the United States, coupled with the addition of Boyle Transportation, significantly advances the expansion. strategy of his company in the American healthcare market.
