CISA seeks solution for Incident Management Work Tracking System – MeriTalk


Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Seeks Industry Insight on Providing Secure Work Management Tracking System to Better Secure Federal IT Company .

January 22 information request (RFI) states that CISA Threat Hunting requires a solution that can provide data resiliency for the incident management system and have the ability to scale to the cloud.

“The desired system must meet the minimum 140-2 encryption level. The system must handle full account logging (pass / fail) for all system assets and integrate with the existing SIEM architecture, ”the RFI read. “In addition, the system must allow full host-based logging of all system assets and integrated with an existing SIEM architecture. “

The RFI lists the following requirements for the solution:

  • It must migrate historical data from an incident management tracking system previously used by the customer;
  • It should allow domain mapping;
  • It must include a threat scoring module or allow the development or customization of a module;
  • It must support the management of incidents, problems, changes and versions;
  • It must include email functionality for internal and external communications;
  • It must include an API or feed the SIEMs of customers;
  • It should have the capability to automatically generate a ticket via email to the system and the system should have the capability to update tickets via email to the system; and
  • The system must have a resident metrics engine for asset, basic, advanced, and enterprise reporting.

This initial RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only. Requests for proposals and requests for quotations are not currently solicited and this RFI does not promise any solicitation in the future. Responses are expected on February 2.
