Denver company buys management company Indy Healthcare


Solutions Healthcare Management, based in Indianapolis, was acquired by Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting in Denver. Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Pinnacle says the deal creates one of the most comprehensive physician consulting firms in the nation.

Pinnacle said Solutions owners Todd Hoopingarner, John Murphy and Jeff Bills will remain owners and transition to Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting. Bill will serve as Chief Technology Officer for Solutions’ Cloud Proven Networks, and Mary Reeves will lead Solutions’ Revenue Cycle Services as Chief Revenue Officer.

“Consolidation across all areas of the healthcare industry provides a natural platform for consistency and coordination between trusted advisors like Pinnacle and Solutions,” said Hoopingarner, who is also president of Solutions Healthcare Management. . “This will allow us to optimize new opportunities that impact the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of patient care. I have known the Pinnacle partners for over 12 years. We look forward to tapping into their vast expertise to improve the services we provide.”

Hoopingarner says access to a broader customer base will allow the company to hire additional staff in Indianapolis.

Solutions provides practice management services including patient care reporting, full revenue cycle management for professional billing, and a private cloud platform. Pinnacle provides a host of financial assessment and compliance services to healthcare organizations, including hospitals, health systems, and medical practices.
