A Leeds-based facility management and development company co-founded by a Initiated 42 Under 42 has opened a new office in central London.

Penguin Facilities Management was founded in 2018 by childhood friends Edward Wick and Rohin Dhand, who is in the Insider 42 under 42 Yorkshire class of 2021.

The company serves clients in various industries across the UK including Easy Bathrooms, Heron Foods, Wren Kitchens, the NHS and the Yorkshire-based Provenance Inns and Hotels group.

Following record growth over the past 24 months, she has appointed a Managing Director for London and the South to lead the division and serve a growing portfolio of clients in the region.

Edward Wick said: “This is an important decision for Penguin – it will further strengthen our position and allow us to improve our services for our customers based in the south of England.

“Paul Gisby, our new Managing Director for the region, brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, which our team members and the company as a whole will truly benefit from.

Rohin Dhand added: “This comes at a crucial time for London businesses looking to exit the pandemic and we are absolutely committed to helping customers save on their bottom line while further innovating our FM services. “
