As part of efforts to develop entrepreneurial skills among young people, First Code Management Services has developed an initiative called the “First Up 2021 Creatives Accelerator Program”.
The program aims to equip creative entrepreneurs with basic management practices and business support to start a business.
Ghanaians between the ages of 18 and 35 who practice film making, theater production or photography can participate in this program.
Speaking to Joy Business at the launch, First Code Company Managing Partner King Kojo Sarfo explained the rationale for the initiative, saying his outfit will help talented young Ghanaians thrive in their businesses.
“We don’t see much for the players in the creative art sector. We believe all the more that these people are talented. They lack basic business ideas and managerial skills, so we think we can support them in this regard, ”he said.
Some participants who signed up for the program expressed confidence that the program will help their businesses grow.
The program is a 13-week Creative Industries Acceleration Program designed to develop entrepreneurial skills in Ghana.
It will provide training, business networking, mentoring and funding opportunities to young entrepreneurs in the creative sector.
