A director of a Lochwinnoch-based wealth management firm has been named Financial Planner of the Year.
Nicola Crosbie, director of Moran Wealth Management, based in Lochwinnoch on Church Street, has been named St. James’s Place Certified Financial Planner of the Year 2021.
The prestigious awards ceremony was held at St. James’s Place Wealth Management in London on Wednesday February 9, 2022.
The final award was the culmination of a rigorous selection process that began in September 2021.
Nicola was one of five finalists to go through four rounds of screening, including a range of challenges from complex case studies to panel interviews and more.
Nicola said: “It all feels like a dream come true, and I’m still waiting for the news to be fully understood! I feel incredibly happy and grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. [including] my team, my industry colleagues and of course my clients.
This is the second year that Nicola has been shortlisted for the award, having been named one of five finalists at last year’s ceremony.
Nicola continued: “After being shortlisted last year, being named this year’s winner means the world to me.
“It was an honor to share this year’s awards ceremony with Alistair Black, Bina Dayaram, Sandro Forte and Evan Roberts – four incredibly talented and dedicated financial advisors, all of whom I have enjoyed spending time with and I I look forward to getting to know them better.”
With 22 years of experience in the financial industry, Nicola has served as Director of Moran Wealth Management since 2010 and was appointed Senior Partner of St. James’s Place Wealth Management in 2020.
