Houston-based private jet management and charter company Cockrell Resources has been rebranded as Houston JetDirect to highlight the company’s expanding services to remote destinations across America.
Demand for charter flights to these destinations has increased significantly following the sharp reduction in commercial airline services to regional airports during and after the global pandemic, according to the company.
Alberto Castro, President and CEO of the company, said: “After two years of dramatic change in the aviation industry, the company is poised to deliver greater value to more aircraft owners and travelers.”
Castro, who began his career as an aeronautical technician and previously worked as a project manager at StandardAeroadded: “Changing brands now to focus on our core mission makes sense.
In addition to offering aircraft management services, the company has expanded its direct charter offering from Houston and other locations in Texas and the Southwest to destinations in North America and from South. Its fleet includes the Dassault Falcon 2000LX, various Bombardier Challenger models, the Cessna Citation Sovereign and the Learjet 45 and 75.
The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved the name change documentation. Ownership of the company has not changed and remains private.
