Nottingham-based Ryley Wealth Management has acquired Kirton-based Whitelock Financial Planning in Lindsey, North Lincolnshire.
The deal will see Ryley Wealth Management retain three members of Whitelock’s financial planning team: Mandy Coote, Mel Flear and Emma Smyth, who will continue to work from their current office at Kirton in Lindsey.
The firm was established by Principal Julie Whitelock in 2012 as a partner firm of St. James’s Place. With the acquisition, Ryley Wealth Management will take over the service for all of its existing clients.
This follows Ryley Wealth Management which previously merged the assets of Bentley Park Associates in 2021.
David Ryley, Managing Director of Ryley Wealth Management, said: “Julie and I have known each other for years, and we have a very similar philosophy when it comes to offering friendly, appropriate and tailored advice to all of our clients. She steered a tight ship, and I’m thrilled that we can now take over service for her clients as she enjoys a well-deserved retirement. We also look forward to continuing the relationship that Whitelock Financial Planning has previously established with charities, sports teams and arts initiatives in the area, as we support and advocate for important local causes in our shared community.
“Mandy, Mel and Emma all have years of industry experience, and their wealth of knowledge will continue to be a tremendous asset to all of our clients for years to come.
“As Ryley Wealth Management continues to grow and develop, our primary goal always remains to be the most trusted and valued company in the financial services industry today, leading the way in tailored customer service guided through our collective ambition to constantly improve, innovate and inspire.”
