Position: 3D Animator

Live : Minimum 4-5 years experience in a reputable animation studio

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements
  • Pre-visualization development for animation projects
  • Design backgrounds, backdrops and other animated environment elements
  • Develop synchronization and rhythm of movement, depending on audio requirements
  • Work with story editors to merge different layers of animation
  • Recording of dialogues for animation, if necessary
  • Collaborate with other creatives, including designers, photographers, and other animators to finalize projects

Known software: Maya, blender

Position: FX MANAGER

Live: Minimum experience 5-6 years in a reputable VFX/Animation studio

Responsibilities:

create explosions, destruction, particle systems and liquid simulations. Their role can also be as broad as generating procedural environments, building base assets, character effects (cloth, hair, etc.) and solving difficult pipeline problems.

Known software:

  • Maya
  • Real-time engine (Unreal, Unity)
  • RealFlow, Bifrost
  • VEX and Python programming languages ​​will be an added advantage

Position: Senior Production Coordinators

Live: Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable animation and visual effects studio

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the Shotgun (project management tool) statuses and task assignments are kept up to date.
  • Planning, prioritizing and tracking internal technical assignments and project details.
  • Organize dailies, tours and meetings, take notes and follow up on information for artists and managers as needed.
  • Organizing and setting up media for review sessions.
  • Coordinate and package plan deliveries, including bid documentation.

Position: Senior Compositor/Visual Effects Manager

Live: Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable animation and visual effects studio

Responsibilities:

  • Create continuity within and between shots.
  • Combine all the 2D and 3D elements that make up a plan and ensure that they appear as if they naturally belong to the same space. (For example, they may receive a foreground element that was shot in front of a green screen that they need to integrate with a matte painted background, CG characters, and FX elements.)
  • Smooth an actor’s appearance to make him look younger (de-aging)
  • Added 2D effects such as dust particles, lens flare, motion blur and graphics.

Known software: Nuke (must), Fusion

Position: Head of lighting and compositing (look development)

Live: Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable animation and visual effects studio

Responsibilities:

  • Light and Render CG Shots for Feature Film Production
  • Pre-comp plans;
  • Shader Development/Tweaks
  • Ensure plans meet rendering requirements;
  • Collaborate with the departments involved in the lighting work;
  • Execute the corrections requested by the Supervisor and the Director by demonstrating an analytical and proactive spirit;
  • Maintain the production schedule and quotas given by the production coordinator;
  • Organize work and prepare presentation materials for approval;
  • Communicate and seek information, if necessary;
  • Maintain a good team dynamic;

Position: Colorist

Live : Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable visual effects and animation studio

Responsibilities:

  • Fixed asset colors and locked videos.
  • Carry out technical checks to ensure that all work conforms to the specifications given.
  • Verify final compliance of video assets, ensure quality and consistency of all graphics and framing, adherence to brand standards and edits based on deliverable specifications.
  • Identify and share opportunities for improving our processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the finishing process.
  • Act as a mentor within the editorial team to help develop team skills.

Known software: Davinci’s Resolution

Position: Editor-in-chief

Live : Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable VFX and film production studio

Responsibilities:

  • Approved preview layout, design, style and tone
  • Able to edit and finalize the final cut of a shooting sequence with multiple takes.
  • Knowledge of multiple plugins/transitions and screenreader editing will be an added advantage.
  • Work closely with the team to develop editorial boards for upcoming video/filming issues
  • Make final decisions about which stories, articles and photographs to insert
  • Ensure that all copy has appropriate voice, context, balance and clarity and is in line with editorial strategy
  • Ensure that all information in articles and stories has been properly vetted
  • Provide suggested changes if needed

Known software: Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro

Position: Head of Rigging

Live : Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable animation and visual effects studio

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the rigging workflow, pipeline and design documentation for your team.
  • Develop and improve tools and procedures for streamlining an effective animation pipeline.
  • Provide knowledge and solutions for complex editing and animation, and pipeline shading issues.
  • MEL, knowledge of Python will be an added advantage
  • Creating commands for a complex animation workflow including vehicles and characters.
  • Using a hands-on approach in rigging a variety of characters and props.

Known software: Maya

Position: DOP (Filmmaker)

Live : Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable film production studio

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a VFX supervisor and help determine narrative elements through visual style.
  • Develop the visual style of a film.
  • Determine lighting needs on set.
  • Decide on the best camera angles and settings for scenes.
  • Order and test lighting and camera equipment.
  • Supervise a film crew and direct camera movements.
  • Selection of suitable film stock.
  • Determine the camera’s aperture settings.
  • Control of natural or artificial lighting conditions.
  • Liaise with electricians to ensure adequate power supply.

Camera Knowledge: sony, canon, red, black magic

Position: Asset Lead

Live : Minimum 5-6 years experience in a reputable visual effects and animation studio

Responsibilities:

  • Mastery of one or more 3D software (Maya, Blender and/or Cinema 4d)
  • Must be adept at modeling low poly and optimized models
  • Mastery of one or more texturing software (e.g. Quixel, Substance Painter)
  • Very good knowledge of modeling techniques.
  • Very good knowledge of texture mapping and materials.
  • Ability to use texture space efficiently and take pixel ratio into consideration.
  • Good sense of shape, form, silhouette when it comes to objects.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Known software: Maya, 3ds max

Position: Storyboard Artist

Live : Minimum 2-3 years experience in a reputable visual effects and animation studio

Responsibilities:

  • A degree or license (Engineering / Design / Fine Arts / Digital Art).
  • 2+ years of industry experience and digital art expertise will be helpful.
  • Familiarity with a variety of domain concepts, practices and procedures and should draw on extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D animation techniques.
  • Must master Photoshop.
  • Strong drawing skills, fine art basics and general illustration skills.
  • good communication skills for a 2D storyboard artist.
  • Production experience with 2D animation software such as: Toon Boom, Character Animator, Adobe Flash/Harmony will be an added advantage.

Position: concept artist

Live : Minimum 3-4 years experience in a reputable animation and visual effects studio

Responsibilities:

  • A degree or license (Engineering / Design / Fine Arts / Digital Art).
  • At least 3 years of industry experience and expertise in concept art will be helpful.
  • Must master Photoshop.
  • Ability to draw both humans and animals, and an understanding of basic anatomy and structure for both.
  • Create quick, detailed drawings and paintings of environments, DMPs, characters, buildings, vehicles, and props (including thumbnail and wireframe creation)
  • Use traditional and technological approaches to create 2D and 3D designs through drawing and painting.
  • Strong drawing skills, fine art basics and general illustration skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Position: Creative Director

Live : 5+ years of comic/2d animation experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field/advertising/fine art/design/film/animation.
  • A master’s degree in one of the above fields will be considered an added advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, ToonBoom Harmony, Storyboard Pro etc…
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Live action experience as an assistant director will be an added advantage.
