Utelogy, a unified communications, AV and device management company, has acquired CloudThinQ, a provider of real-time IoT and device management for the enterprise workplace.

According to Utelogy, CloudThinQ has developed a unique cloud-based enterprise IoT platform to intelligently integrate building systems into a flexible and scalable framework for enhanced smart building experiences.

Utelogy, meanwhile, has grown over 280% in the last year and has focused on delivering its platform to end users, system integrators and managed service providers for remotely manage devices in the modern workplace.

With the acquisition of CloudThinQ, Utelogy can provide a platform extension that delivers insight, management, and control far beyond the boardroom and classroom, and brings value to a more wide range of stakeholders, the company said in a press release.

Kevin Morrison, CEO of Utelogy, said in a statement that the business combination was a natural step in the evolution of every company, especially after 2021, when Utelogy experienced triple-digit growth.
