Infosys Foundation President delivers keynote speech at Akka Mahadevi Women’s University
Sudha Murthy, president of the Infosys Foundation, advised students at Akka Mahadevi University for Women in Vijayapura to try to help the poor and needy whenever possible.
Delivering the keynote address online, she said, “Women have naturally been endowed with management skills. These skills must be used in the right way. Always, we have to tell the truth. But, we should learn to speak the truth with gentle, gentle, soothing words. This diploma is not only an academic achievement, but also a reminder of your responsibility. You have to help those in need, give them confidence and encourage them. You should console them with love, empathy, and compassion.
She explained how Akka Mahadevi motivated millions of women to become writers and activists.
“You need absolute focus in your mind, body and soul to achieve remarkable goals in life. If you have the courage to live in the real world, anyone can be successful. If you spend most of your time chasing your goals, you can definitely achieve them. We should stop wasting our time. Time must be valued and used appropriately. We must make our weaknesses our strengths. If you do, happiness is in our control, ”she said.
She called on women to “come out into the world with an open and free mind and be successful”. There is no greater wealth or ornament than happiness. I advise you to always be grateful to your parents, the family you are married to, the professors who taught you, the university and the society who shaped your personality. The people of northern Karnataka are hard workers by nature. This nature will take your life to new heights, ”she told the students.
